One sun placed outside with two windows allowing light in. Mesh emitters under the top cabinets, and two brighter ones under the microwave... also one in the refrigerator water thing... and of course a bunch of mesh emitters right above the island.
It could be better, but the scene was getting too high poly for my 8800GT (yeah, lots of polygons, I'll get better). I decided to stop it, post process it and start working on something else.
Oh, the floor is done with normal mapping, not displacement mapping.
Any questions, just ask. I even have the .blend file if you really want it. Oh, and view for 1600x1200 (original is 2048x1536, I scaled it down 'cause I don't want you to see everything I did badly. heh)
Heehee, one night and most of a day. I love my dual core. It's only at 600 samples, though. Rendering large and downscaling helps make the noise (and noise reduction) a lot less noticeable.
